Built here on ling island....I dont think there building boats anymore but they still have the molds out east....boats are built like tanks....heavy and strong....

All true!! The place still exist in Patchogue, they have a race boat on the side of the building. It is actually a cabinet making shop. Funny, I passed it last week going to the Oar.

2200lbs on a scale. Interesting. Was that with the motor on the back rigged and a full tank of fuel?

2200lbs dry and a 23 degree V will equal a very nice wave crushing ride for someone. Plus you get a pad and a lot of storage area up front. What's the beam on it?
