mazco vs mercury cleavers

I have run 32 pitch mazco cleavers in the past on my boat. My question is do the mercury cleavers perform about the same as the mazco's? Would they spin approx. the same rpm or are the blades bigger, different, etc. Do they have different handling characteristics?
