Looking to get smart craft monitors on 2005 300 x
what exactly will I need ? Sc1000? An what wiring ?
I don't want anything to crazy ! Engine hrs ,temp, water presure

All you need is the sc1000 and harness. Your new style harness has a plug end that says guage on it, just plug tthat in and go.

You need what they call the "blue" harness if you are still running the 8 pin harness. The 300X is already wired at the powerhead and the connector is at the bottom, front, starboard side under the cowl.. just run the blue harness from engine to monitor

biggest problem is the gps hook up. i only found the garmin 45 and mono street plotter to actually work. i believe its the speed mnea sentence. the 2 listed have 2 digit resoluation on speed where new versions are 3. i do not recommend connecting the digital trim vs the analog. the digital is real slow to respond.
