Ya’ll have heard the story I told about having a hard time finding places to run my boat due to all the restrictions here. Well, I met a guy through the net and we finally hooked up. He gave me (my wife) directions to the place & after five months of anticipation we finally met. After arriving I walked through the area and asking for Fritz. He was busy running his Fountain but managed to hear me & after the introductions of several people he told me to get my rig wet.

Today was the first time I’ve got to stretch it out & it ran 55 kph or about 34 mph. This is a GPS’d # by the way. Not bad for a completely stock rig. Of course there’s more to be had after a tuned pipe and big bore carb…. OH YEAH.!

So back at the house my Grand Father called from the states just to b.s. a little. One thing he asked about was how things are going and if the locals are treating Americans any differently due to the current events. That got me to thinking. Through all the adverse feelings of war, I can say that today I shared a common interest with some good people. We put down our defenses (opinions) today long enough to engage in a hobby we enjoy & out of it, I’ve walked away better educated and have a few more buddies to add to my list.

Thanks for letting me share and I hope ya’ll enjoy the photos. I’m going to start them out with the big one. I thought my boat was big at 4 ft & 3 hp…….. Check this out. Mines the baby.

Double out.

Wedding went very well. I was really impressed with it all. Though things haven't changed much I feel better in my heart. This woman is the queen of my life. Heck, she enjoys boating even if it is the r/c kind. Thanks for asking.

Double you are one lucky dog. The love of a good (not to mention very pretty) woman who enjoys your hobbies.

That truly is priceless.

Thanks for the pics. Some awesome lookin' boats. I'd bet some of them are worth as much as my old Glasstream and probably close to the same speed. Cool.

Wasnt it Raceman or Balzy that had that? They are pretty expensive. They even have them in a water cooled model.

Or are you just teasing us?;)

Congrads on your marrage!:)

You want to see serious?....Here it is at over 70mph!

The Fountain is Fritz's in thr foreground & the big cat is coming in.

The Fountain would run high 50 to low 60's. He said it needed a good ripple on the water to free the hull up but for the most part it was glass so she stuck.

The fastest that day.

It was terribly hard to get them in frame. He was running the same twin cylinder 60 cc engine as in the big red boat.

1 input shaft TO 2 outdrives

This thing threw a rooster like a freakin outrigger!

Btw Vector Mike, remember how we'd been talking about all this in the past? We'll the first time I talked to this guy on the phone I didn't tell him what I had because he'd already stated that they've got some even bigger & badder than what was here.

Gainso, the prices of these? The Fountain was 3k + When they found out how much I paid for mine they couldn't believe it.

Yep, worth as much as my Glasstream and nearly as fast.

Glad to see you doing well and gettin' in a little boating. R/C is a heck of a lot better than no boats at all, and looks like you met some good people.

Have fun, stay safe and come home soon.

Those boats are HUGE, Unreal.....

YOu two look GREAT together. Parker had his R/C tunnel at the get together. He WOWed the crowd. Only hit the dock once. The weed beds ......Well thats antother story. That boat makes his face light up like an two year old. Hope yours does the same.

Take care my friend and give the best to the WIFE :)
