Good looking rig, tad bit older than what I'm aiming for.

Hmmm tough call. Both Fast with same power. One can flip the other hook. Im more of a hooking kinda guy than a flipper I think. Im going to say Allison RR for race and pleasure unless your going to drag race competitively then i would find a light layup 01 Drag with a S3000. Just so sick looking! http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo37/buddyroe-88/Josh/Josh071.jpg

Might be just me and I know both have there pluses and lots drive both but honestly for me i would rather hook than flip. Not saying that either would if respected but any chance balls out wot i will take the hook over upside down any day. Dont take this the wrong way just speaking my mind. haha:rolleyes: Also for me hooking doesn't hurt the boat maybe your shoulder or if you hit your head without a helmut on. Blowing over wrecks the boat and maybe you wont have any injuries and maybe you will? Thats how i always looked at it. Pluss my wife wont get into a light tunnel but for what ever reason trusts me in a Vee?? haha i wish i had a video of me hooking she might think different. :D

A buddy has blown over more times than he can remember in over 40 years of STV race boats and most Allison drives hook once or twice in a long time span. Most OK a few beat up a little ,2 I know of had some stitches in the head. But all say there own fault. We actually did a pole of this on the A board last year. I would love an STV because they drive so easy at 100. But i know me and know I would be looking for every last point of a mph so that scares me a little in a small tunnel. Skater or Tuff with a 300 i would be more at ease. XR2001 with a drag make me droool!!

There is a very nice rocket on Facebook for sale with a 15" 260. I have never in my years heard of a rocket blowing over. I own one and it is the most stable solid performance hull I have ever ridden in or owned. I know of some mirage river racers that went over, but not an STV rocket. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a RR from Wally and it is most stable boat I own. You can drive at over 100 mph with one hand on the wheel straight into the wind. It's a light build as well. Want to see stable, My RR with 26p Yami, 1.87 lower and 15" mid. Had to wait for fishing boat to move over. Red bouy is 1/4 mile. Check out tach. go here: https://youtu.be/rcBbzzI9buY Nick
