Continental twinduro or perrelli mt21. I've ridden both they are great all around tires. I have mt21 on my dr650 and I did a few trips from queens to lake George Ny did 150 miles in the woods then back to queens.

Charlie,
I have Dunlops on KTM SMR and Avons on my Husqavarna SM most all of the tires are good on the road but offroad is where some really stand out. Go on supermotojunkie.com and all of the drz guys will give you their thoughts. Its a very informative sight for supermoto stuff.

i've got it narrowed down to the dunlop 606 or pirelli xcmh, just wondering if they are going to be to radical for street riding though. all the other dual sport stuff looks fairly tame, and he is talking about running some enduro/hare scrambles in the fall with it. probably be alot of mud/sand, so it needs to be capable for that.

I rode my dr650 in the soft Long Island sand daily with a 60/40 on road/Off-road and it was a total handful. The mt21 solved that problem.
