I have a 2002 21 Superboat center console. How many gallons does it hold and where is the fuel guage sender. My sender took a crap!

I dont think he would have used different tanks in the center console boats but the deck model used to be 54 gallons and the sender is in the front John said when it need to be accessed cut a hole and put an inspection plate.
Maybe a current owner of a center console can offer more info
(is there a tag on the tank or is tank completely sealed up?)

There's a tag that I think says 60 gallons. The problem with the sender is that I need to know EXACTLY where to cut an access hole.

just cut hole in the center of the floor. keep cutting larger hole until you find sender. measure final hole size. you then can buy access door in any size up to 6ft x 6ft.

ps. I am job searching. did I pass the test question?

No, you failed, the correct answer is to throw a rug over the hole after you get done cutting

Randy I have the tank drawings from the manufacturer, Miami tank, call Hugh Durham he has my 21 super I replaced my sender and Joey Impresia cut the hole where the drawing said the sender was , it was right in the money. Call Hugh ask him to measure from the rear edge of the tank, visible under the rear seat. Up to the center of the inspection plate. The sender is right there .

Philip, good info! The problem he may have is he has the CC, I can not remember if the rear edge of the tank is visible to get that starting point measurement.
If I remember correctly it is in the vicinity of center between the front seats.

Hi tux, yes I know,, but the drawings I have might be a starting point,, tank measures 83x24 overall, 6.75 deep , 60 gal . Shapped like bottom of hull, sender 44" up from rear edge of tank on center line . 1.5" fuel fill pipe is 2.5 " forward of rear edge of tank if that is visiable' tank has 4 internal baffels fuel sender is a Rochester electric 8.1/4" tank wall thickness .125 ... The correct name of the manufacturer is "florida Marine tanks. Hialeah florida. They might have also made the CC tanks if these dimensions don't seem right. Randy they sent me the construction drawing when I was trying to find my sender,, the location was spot on :))

Philip, yes, the tanks are 60gl so no doubt it will be helpful! If I remember correctly with the CC it was just a bit tricky due to the liner back there in the bilge. I'm also pretty sure he did not change the tank location or mounting in any way for the CC.
BTW, Hope all is well!
