Have you ever had your motor blow water over the transom at WOT?

I was running my buddies Glastron GT150 with his inline 6 115. We were running around 60 mph. As I was trimming it way up trying to get it to go faster, the prop started slipping just a little and all of a sudden we were getting wet. Never fully blew out or lost control at all. Just all of a sudden it was throwing water into the boat....

I didn't look very long , but the quick look I saw water being thrown into the back of the boat. I mean like a fire hose?

Ive never experienced something like this? How can this even happen?

24 chopper with extra holeshot added to blades.

Any ideas, id say we caught a tree branch or something, but there was no feeling like we hit something...

I guess I'd have to go out and try to do the same thing again? I was out with a guy that ripped out a trim tab at around 70.That little trip got a kinda hairy.

You probably trimmed far enough to point the tip of the nose cone down shooting water up the front if the gearcase and then forward when hit hit the bottom cowl. My old gearcase used to do it when turning at certain speeds. Back would get wet

We took the jackplate off yesterday. I noticed the anode on the bottom of the trim unit was mostly missing. (The big square one) It was cracked and fell off.

I also could see a fresh gouge on the leading edge of the lower unit. I think the anode fell off and somehow stuck tot he front of the lower unit for just a bit and threw water all over the back of the transom. Seems really unlikely, that it could do that, but thats all I can find.
