Hey guys I just bought a 19 reaction and had a few questions on setup. Currently it has an older early 90's Mercury 200 on it. I'm planning on buying a Bobs Jack plate for it but I'm unsure of how much set back I should be running. I've searched the forum but the info is somewhat conflicting. Some say less is better, but then other are running 8-10 inches of setback with good performance. Anyone have any info? Also I plan on re powering soon with a 250 opti. I know this is a heavier motor but will that effect the setback? Id rather buy the plate for the motor that I'm going to be getting in the future.
Thanks

Get in touch with Frostman (Andy Frost) he built them back then and can tell you exactly how to set it up. BTW, Awesome boat!

I have been trying to get ahold of him for a little bit now too. Saw him in the keys but he left the sandbar before I could talk to him

Thought you guys might be interested in seeing some pics. Currently I'm wet sanding and buffing the whole hull, bringing the old gel coat back to brand new...
