Charger 18 SK

Bought a 1988 Charger to replace an ailing J Craft as our ski boat. Boat is pretty much original condition and it appears to have held up very well given it's age. Looking forward to the first good cruise in the old/new girl. Engine is 87 150 XR2 with the OI removed, running a 23P Tempest plus which I hope will work for both skiing and cruising.

I always liked the Chargers. A boat that old, you should have the core floor and transom checked out. The 23 will work fine unless you are 200 lb. Then you might want to go down to 21". My brother uses a 21" on his DL/200 Johnson for skiing.

The hull has had limited use and checked out fine. Thanks for the prop info. Engine is mounted all the way down so I will likely leave it there for starters.
