just sold my allison.......so this nice 15" needs a new home.
factory Merc 15" drag mid ( short ram )
clamp lightened by galen burden ( steering arm still on mid for hyd. steering setup) -- very rare
boatworks exhaust tuner w/ JSRE drystack
exhaust relief slots
45 degree drag snout..
this is a factory mid.........not a cut down one...........short trim ram..........
comes with stainless trim lines and mercury trim pump........ready to install and race.

this is a factory DRAG short ram mid.........lightened by galen burden........steering stem will work on hyd. steering..... look at everything again and this is a deal..........dont believe you can find one less.....

How much lighter is it over a stock 15" ?

23.5 lbs lighter than a 15" with the long ram setup.
12lbs were lost on the swivel, 2 lbs on the transom brackets, and 9.5 lbs by swapping from a long ram to a short ram.

That's pretty impressive. Is it true that a ROS mid and clamp is about 55lbs heavier than a bass?

The ROS is heavier but I doubt very seriously it's 55 lbs

Mike I am going to look at a 15 mid that has been lightened next week I might be able to hook you up it was all done on a mill and I have a Bridgeport Mill and even know how to use it a little lmao
