24 Skaters are hard to come by these days, and like you said the mint ones aren't being sold. I'm an east coast guy with an 80x100 lot and that's where my 24 sits. There are a few out there, but they might need a little work. Honestly, if you put the work into it at least you know it's being done right and being done the way you want it. Keep your eyes open, I'm sure one or two will pop up here or there. Check YouTube also and craigslist. Some of the dealers who get them at auction or on trade don't get on SNF.

I didn't see that one.
A decent one from Fla. sold for $18k w/ no power.

Question for you guys - how do they compare to the V-bottoms in terms of stability and safety?
I currently have a 22-Progression - great boat but you need to be on your game at high speeds - it's a balancing act on the 8" pad.
How violent it the hopping at like 60mph?

You will never ride in a v bottom after a ride in
a cat very stable !no chine walking to deal with
abit of porpis until 60 or so

Like stated above. Very stable and mine porpoises from about 55/55-80. If you're in a slightly choppy water it really doesn't porpoise. You can run a tunnel tab if you have to stay in the speed range of the porpoising and the tab will stop it. Or you can power thru it or stay below 50/55. There's a reason Skaters are so desirable.
