been watching Sat morning tv shows about fishing S Fla and thought it would break up the winter blahs. Anyone have some recommendations on a guide? Not looking to go too far offshore. Just some good action and good eats. Thanks,
Dave

Contact Scott Townsend of Fishing Addiction Charters.
He fishes from The sunshine sky way down to Sarasota.
Spent most of our time fishing with him in the Sarasota bay area.

Thanks for the pointer. So many to choose from and I wanted to avoid a bad experience.

I used to deck and run boats out of destin in summer and key largo/islamorada in winter, the further south you go the better, in winter, any boat that can get you out to the humps off islamorada in winter is a safe bet. In the gulf, anybody that fishes wrecks will know whats biting.we built hundreds of wrecks out of old cars and truck tires in the 70/80's that still produce. The atlantic side and the keys are naturally deeper with coral reefs and current breaks that gather fish. It is also a fun time to get into some big okeechobee largies on live shiners.
