I bought this motor new in ‘89. It's been run on several boats over the years, a Checkmate (that was stored for about 10 years, a tri-toon (for 3 years), and recently for a few 800 ft passes, on a STV. This motor has never had a wrench on it, and it still runs just like the day it came out of the crate. Still has excellent working oil injection, and comes with the remote tank. Low water pickup (Bob’s), that has the water holes above the point, which is great for shallow water. Lower unit had seals replaced for the first time a couple years ago. Sorry, I don't have the control cables that go from motor to front of boat, but the old round type is easy to find.
If you are looking for a dependable motor that does everything from idle to WOT likes it's suppose to, this is it. It is hanging on a hoist ready for you to pick up, or bring your boat and put it straight on. I live about 30 minutes from Columbia, SC. If it does not sell by spring, I will probably put it on another boat.
$3000 firm.
