Hi Guys,
I have a bullet 1750 that i am having issues with, it seems to be very slow and dragging the slalom waterskiers, below is the setup i currently have
CMC 6" Setback Jack Plate - I have this setup in the lowest setting to try get the motor down
Mercury 200hp 2 Stroke
What happens is, if i have the jackplate all the way down the exhaust goes underwater and causes the boat to bog
If i have the jack plate about half way and start with the motor about 3rd trimmed then trim in and then accelerate that seems to work but seems to take forever pulling the skier out
the motor is a 20" mid section
the Prop im using is a Quicksilver Laser II 19p, i have a 23p version of the same prop but thats even worse.
When i jack the motor right up during speed runs i get about 65mph with the 19p and about 75-80mph with the 23p
too me it seems like i need to get the motor lower, but if i do that with the jackplate the exhaust goes underwater and the boat will stall..
