For sale SEI lower unit has maybe 10 hours on the lower and 1 hour on the lwp
$400

Prop shaft shear off or just without guts?

Prop shaft shear off worked perfect until the shaft snapped

is that holes from a blown pinion gear

No holes that's some paint that came off

BUMMER no warranty...they have been pretty reliable...did you hit something, did it break at the thrust washer or internally??

Didn't hit anything I ran it for 1 hour after putting the LWP. Broke at the seal

I had one did the same thing. They don't like being surfaced much

i have one that just did the same thing too..i think a non ratcheting prop shaft will fit as a replacement. mine has very few hours as well..loosing a prop completly sucks!!

That sucks. I had the same problem except mine was not an SEI lower. It just had a sierra prop shaft and I believe that is what SEI buids theirs with.

It almost looks like some kind of material imperfection. This of was after we took it out. It really sucked I lost a brand new prop that day too.

are the sei prop shafts 2 peice spun weld, or are they one peice solid. they appear to be useless for hi performace set ups.

I just fixed a sei with a lwpu for a customer I had to pull the carrier and shaft at the same time with a slide hammer then air chisel out the shaft back through the carrier as it broke right at the seal like many others, ruining the bearing in the carrier. It was only ran about 3 hours I looked spun welded together I'm no expert buy maybe where the tool steel ends and the stainless begins? I put what I believe is a merc. one piece shaft in it and hoping to different results.

I have one of these lowers for sale cheap i have had no problems with it i went to a sporty it may have 2 hours on it .

does that mean it's a lwp, 20" 187, rh, late mdle, for sale cheap...what does that mean...can't you be more specific...my 2 cents

Yes you are wright 20" 1.87 - LWP Very low hours i see they have a bad rep but i've had no issues for sale cheap $350.00 plus shipping.
Maybe on non hp app will be fine ? I ran this lower on my xr2002 90 plus with no issues .
