Hey, Guys. Want your opinions...I know everybody has one. I have a 21' Warhawk tunnel hull with 300hp Mercury Promax Sportsmaster. Running 26P chopper. Thinking about changing over to 2.5 280 Offshore 15" or 300X...even considering 2.5 drag. I love to ride but want to race, too. Guess you'd say I want it all. Give me the pros and cons of each. Thanks. Really have learned a lot from you guys...and get a few laughs, too.

your boat would run great with either. the 300 promax you have now is fine on that boat. you arent gonna see much more speed with that boat anyway. but yes a drag would run faster but comes with no warranty. a 280 would run faster on that boat with a 1 year warranty. and beleive me there alot more expensive to repair. besides you know im the fastest around so why bother? lol

You are gonna need a bigger wheel to generate any speed.

I have a 21ft picklefork with the 300 also, that 26p is gonna max out in the upper 80's low 90's.

A 32p will land you in the 105mph range!

I will be testing a new 32p 4 blade Merc cleaver next week and will let ya know. I've run 3 blade 32, but I'm looking for more bite.

With a bigger wheel you may need to add some negative trim angle to your setback so you acn tuck it!
