Just got to the point I can drive it on the big end. Current 94 gps with a 28 pitch pro max. Just about 10 mph slower than my 21 Liberator. Not bad for a fishing boat loaded to fish.

I would think your Bullet should easily run 100+

Prior owner indicated 97 gps, however I am not strong enough to handle the wheel torque. Some Bullet owners with similar set ups claim 100, but I don't see it with a fishing load, pedestal seats and graphs. Stripped and a 30 or 32 pitch prop it might do it.

I think you may be right. After a few adjustments to engine height and a prop change...a28 hydromotive 4 blade it logged 90.5 at 5720 rpm on the smart craft. I plugged it into the prop slip calculator and the slip factor appears to be just over 3 % and the wheel torque was manageable. So I think with some more wheel time it should get real close.

Shoot I wish Gary, the hull unfortunately hasn't left the manufacturer quiet yet. Then we got rigging and break in. I think mid to late March will be about as good as it could be at this point. No biggie because we were waiting on the Miami Boat show announcements by Merc anyway. Was hoping for a lightweight 300 4 stroke or a VRod, other than the 400R, with a sportsmaster. After the show we now know that the 300xs is the way to go.

I Think the 300xs is the only way to go at this time. Can't wait to see it.

Me too on the XS and wanting to see it lol. Can't wait to start the process of learning how to drive it and your offer to launch on Travis will be huge, so thank you!! Plus we'd like to start fishing here soon too.

A selection of performance bass boats. Allison, Bullet, Stroker, Sterling , Nitro and a Ranger. The Nitro with the 300 ProMax will run almost 80 with very little set up time. The Stroker has a 400R.

I ran with the Stroker the other day and the 400r is something unreal. I think it would be a great motor for the 21 Lib. with a 34p clever.

Fishing load, 2 people at tourney blastoff it would run 97 and some change every morning. 32 Performer, light load, 2 people it would do 101-102 if you could hold it. I need to dig up pictures of the GPS readings. This bring back memories.
