That's what I need so I can hang with you Helmut! HAHAHA!!!! :D You'd have to put wings on your STV and carry a parachute.:D Wow thats some serious HP.

I think that is based on a Allison 250-C18 or C-20 turbine Those wore used in varoious helicoptors, they are very relible and tough, I hve flown some turbine aircraft and they are some really neat engines, I have though about building, are you ready, a turbine jet boat ( yeah, i hear you ) but jets are the most easily converted, those turbines will produce max raer HP for a long time (3500 hrs) and thats hard to beat, but they have to be spooled up all the time to produce much power.

That thing has been around for 3-4 years. I visited Ted at MTT last year. He just did not give up any information on the progress of the OB. There must be some problem that is holding it up. It is real cool in person.
Ted has some incredible projects. This was my favorite. A twin turbine air boat.

Sounds good to me. Too bad they did not show a pic of the boat running, would love to see what sort of rooster tail that would throw.
