must have some bags of crack under the seat for that price....
Wonder if it is really a J block. Lower certainly isn't for an XS motor

I bet they are stuck with it for the amount of money they put into it. Hope they like it as much as they think someone else might

Isn't that Bruster or Bruce somebody's boat? I have old pics of it from the golden age of SnF. I bet you won't find a nice Carlson. I think the late model gearcase is faster, I have one with a cone on it and a 15in shaft.

That gold one might have been the one I grew up watching fly in Merrick bay 1972 with a X115. ???? Steve ... whats your last name? There were lots of fast boats back in Merrick. Freeport had a guy with a Magnum missle L6 back then. In bellmore 3 Eltros...owned by one family. Get to Massapequa you had Sonny Werner in a Allison.

The gold one in Merrick Bay was a 1966 Challenger 16 with and Evinrude x-115 it was Bob Schefer's boat. I bought his engine and then put it on 1973 Glastron/Carlson CV-16. IT HAD NO Tilt&Trim so I put it on a 1970 Green Challenger 16 and It run 72 0n the KELLER. Those were the days. I think Dave S still has the engine. ''MERC MAN''
