If someone is going to post something could you just put it on 1 forum???
I know you think it might be missed if you don't cover the whole field but it won't. Most here are too addicted to look at only a few of the forums and some, like me, use the new post function which opens all of them up.
Besides if it's a question the thing gets all beat up and split between several forums.
Thankyou.
Now it's time for me to switch back to beer.
Give the man a cigar. that sure bugs me too.
I like the "view new posts" function too...

Please delete posts of items that are SOLD ! Some of us wait for days to get a reply on things that have been long gone. It makes browsing easier too.

Can we keep posts relevant to the forum? Jokes and political garb in the lounge, selling stuff in the For Sale, tech questions in the Tech, general boating discussion in General, and so on.

I understand about the sold items, but I like to go back and look thru what was available, and roughly what it sold for. I do a search, and narrow it down a bit first. I can see good points to both sides of it. For now, I leave some of mine out there, for reference. Maybe an Archiving function is in our future (hint, hint)?

the threads in the sales forum...but do something to better manage the list of items that have been sold and maybe provide some kind of member overview or status???
Maybe there is no good solution, but I would be willing to pay an extra fee to know that both the product and person are both legitimate.
I will admit that serveral times a newer member has posted an item that I wanted but the fact they only had 10 posts and no other information made me nervous...maybe he/she was totally legit, but there is nothing telling me they are.
You can get taken in any on-line (ebay) forum, just wish there was way to make this process more accountable.
