225x complete drop on worn out

I have 2 225x power heads and need to sell one to build the other. 2004 model cranks and runs.no mods .leakdown is terrible .compression is good. 2 cyl are .030 over so it will need 2 sleeves.can put back on to run.willing to teardown while u watch..I think if you do the labor you could buid it for 15 - 1800 dollars. .I bought another one last year advertised as first class but it is junk bored and 2different heads.not gonna pawn that off on nobody.gonna send it all to ruck.the motor I am selling I ran on the jasper river run last year.iti was in a white/red 2003.it turns a billy eaves bullet cut 28 6200 loaded.I took it off after the river run ..asking $3000. I might sell both and buy a 260 or 280.anybody need 2.other one has 2holes bored .015 and all need bored and new guts .second has a c2 and c3 but c2 is machined to match and pretty job.it almost got by me but im picky.

The motor im running now has a simon upgrade ecu n flywheel. If I sell both I will have a alien cowl for sale too.

I have a 93 260 4 Bolt, no cracks or welds, big crank, big rods, big bolts, al flywheel, new stator, nik is very clean. Just got the rods and pistons back from John, waiting for bearings and gaskets to show up to put it back together. I might be interested in working a deal on the 2 powerheads with ya. can you send pics of the powerheads to sales at aimoutboards.com I can send pics the of 260 back. I have a brand new set of the latest 225x heads so not really concerned about that as long as they are complete and oem 225x I will be :thumbsup:

Dont be mislead.both my motors are worn out and one will need two sleeves.they both plug up and run nothing is broken one is missing the plug wires.

Lee, I will give you a call tomorrow. I am pretty sure it's an analog box. I will mic the bores again tomorrow I cannot recall the figures right now.
