Hi, just purchased a Sailfish 200 with a Johnson GT300 Limited Edition/ Second Effort, ported, Land&Sea air intake, Land&Sea heads, light weight cowl, exhaust snout above water & Bobs low water pick up, psi on all cyl. is 110/112psi. - Second Effort elevator

I took the boat/trailer/engine to get the engine and use it on a race hull if I can find one, tunnel or mono.

Okay, I was out on the water to see how the engine performs on this hull, the sailfish 200 is 2000lbs and with a heavy bow or should I say very heavy bow, engine starts just looking at the ignition, runs smooth in all rpm, the engine is on a elevator and the prop is a 3 blade Raker 14 1/2 x 26p.

Here are the numbers from a powerfull engine :nonod:, 3000rpm 21mph - 4000rpm 33mph - 4500/4800rpm 44mph

Is the raker all wrong, do I need more or less Pitch, 4 blade instead of 3, maybe more like surface prop like cleaver than the Raker is etc.??...

Hope some off you have time to give me some advice.

I believe it has to do with not getting enough fuel, when I have solved that issue and the engine running perfectly, I will have a better idea if I am using the right prop or not, I posted a thread in technical discussion about the engine.

Just pulled the engine the other day, currently looking for a new lighter hull, the sailfish is shipped to North Greenland.
