here is what i know i bought a 3.0 case from SEI for a customer it was for a 2008 250 XS on a Basscat bass boat it had the verado case on it its different in every way from case to guts, it has big propshaft, really big forward gear bearing and gear, carrier is much better as well as drive shaft its a much heavier case all around the case was busted on the one i kept but all the guts were good

How about the measurement from prop shaft to top of case? And diameter of bullet? Gear ratios?

Shaft Splines, shaft length, gears, case diameter. Depends on what 3L your comparing it to though.

the bolt pattern i believe is the same, everything else is different(other then the water pump), just rebuilt a few of them. propshaft/carrier/carrier bearing is nothing like the 3 litre case, gears are different, driveshaft spline is different. they also made 2 different cases, first generation and second generation which uses the same bullet diameter as a bravo.
