I still have the motor, I guess I could put it on my pontoon. Anyone know how a 24' pontoon would run with a '99 Drag on it?

I'll trade ya my 92 ProComp with fresh 245 Carb for your 24ft pontoon with the 99 drag. I figure thats just what I need to haul the wife, kids, dog and even company around.
I wonder if Mike will allow a pontoon at BTTW?

If that was the motor in the picture. Didn't they go to the new alien cowl in 99'? :confused:

A 30' PUTANG BOAT WITH A 2.5 260 ON ALLIGATOR LAKE LAST YEAR. I THINK HE SAID IT WOULD RUN 60 TO 70 MPH. HE WAS FLYING IT AND MAKING A BIG OL ROOSTER TAIL. :D

The motor in the pic is a pieced together Drag. Sportmaster case, 2000' Drag 15" mid, '99 powerhead, and the hood is from my first 2.5EFI I bought back in 1993.

My first choice for a new boat is a Euro, but I'm still interested in your ProComp Brad!


The boat is going to Texas!

THANKS FOR THAT PIC OF YOUR OLD BOAT. I AM REPLACING THE TRANSOM IN MY V-KING AND WAS LOOKING FOR A PIC WITH THE SPLASHWELL GLASSED IN. I HOPE MINE TRUNS OUT THAT GOOD.

Watch it with that pontoon boat, they blow over pretty easy...:)

That is a really nice pic. I would have had a tear in my eye for sure.:(
