For those with a stock consumer throttle/shifter box (the one with the kill lanyard that has a little plastic loop on the kill switch lanyard)...
This switch replaces the factory toggle switch inside. This is a Carling double-throw switch with the same dimensions as stock. Connect the fuel pump relay's control ground wire to the extra lug on the switch. This way, the switch completes the circuit to energize the relay while in the RUN position, and disconnects it when the switch is thrown to KILL. The kill circuit still works in the normal fashion. On some control boxes, you may need to use a jam nut on the shaft of the switch to keep the baton from hitting the little hood where the lanyard goes. Otherwise, it's a pretty simple install. I have a few extras of these, if anybody needs one. $20 to your door. PayPal to [email protected]
Thanks!
