Hi,

I have just bought a smilin jack intake for my 260hp merc. I have managed to install the intake, but I'm I'm not sure how to connect the bleed lines.
Does anybody have a "guide" how to connect these lines?
Also wondered if this intake will give any performance gains in comparison to the original horn?

Thanks
Christian

I have taken some better pictures now :) Now you actually can see the vacuum lines :P I think this is a smilin jack, but the front is very rare, isn't it?

Would you mind takeing some pictures of your vacuum lines, so I could compare it with my setup. I'm not too shure that I've got them right :)
Also, I put the powerhead back on the mid-section today, And when I was about to tighten the bolts, I noticed that the "gearchanger-shaft" got pressed between the intake and the pan :S I thought this intake was designed for Mercury, but seems I have got myself a rare version. Thinking about adding a intake spacer to solve the problem, so that the smilin jack reedcage plate get spaced out and away from the gear changer shaft.
