Here is the set up.
1983 StarCraft Super Sport with a 1985 Yamaha PRO V 150. For an aluminum Vhull run about it is very fast. 3 adults on board weighing 650 lbs the boat runs 54 MPH a 5700 RPMs.
With just me onboard it is virtually uncontrollable, and I have sent the boat airborne, it planes out fast and when it comes down it takes off fast, it went airborne in about a 1 foot roller.
It also porpoises badly. Not so much with extra weight up front (275 lb person) but with just one person in it.
I have moved all weight possible forward.
Running a 13x21 aluminum prop presently.
I would like to make the boat much more controllable, and eliminate the porpoising.
I am thinking a set of smart tabs at the moment, not sure if a prop change would help with the porpoising but that is coming as well.
Here she is in action with driver and two passengers on board.

You really only need to watch about the first 14 seconds of this video.
