Kinda hard to tell what part you are after, via that description. Are you refering to the standard inline trim cylinders & brackets assy.? Or the pump inside the boat? Or the external, smaller, "ligthweight" race trim cylinders? Or?

Ted. The diagram is the race trim. You can find them but are becoming pretty rare and pricey.

Yes, what largecar said. But they were not through transom. They were mounted to just the back of the transom. They were used mostly in the early to mid 70's on inline sixes. Mostly on standard midsection sixes, such as 150XS's & 1500's, etc. Hi-Perf inlines on the other hand, were usually on tunnels that went with the single-cylinder thru-transom arrangement. In Sport J class tunnels for instance, with a standard mid six, the lightweight dual cylinders were the preferred.

We made or had ours made. If we're talking about the same trim set up. Not that hard if you're handy with metal or know someone that is. Use the regular inline pump and just one (1) cylinder. It pushes against the top of the lower unit (where it bolts to the housing) with some sort of tough plastic sitting in a "U" for steering.

Original BP's had clamp brackets that did not accept power trim. that was added by th eindividuals later.
