This is the month I get my baby out. She goes from the Hangar to the garage for spring tune-up. Went out there today, we actually had some sun. Supposed to be -5 tomorrow morning when I wake up though............
So where do all you other snow-belt dwellers store your boats? My little corner of the hangar costs me $150 for almost 6 months storage, but I get access to power and light and nobody else touches my boat but me.....

I'm usually boating by the end of March so I'm getting really anxious now. Can't wait to start working on it.

I need to put a header and a single 20 ft garage door on my garage so I can get my boat inside.

Mine stays in the pole barn and I have been tinkering too. I work in this Michigan weather and its getting old!! Here is a pic when I pulled the boat out a few days ago.

Unfortuantley mine is under covers and keeping part of my driveway shaded:( due to monumental inside renovation which I am glad to have about finished) How come boat pics always look better when they are parked on the snow?

That's a good deal for 6 months of storage. I thought you guys up north might be like Cartman on South Park, they have winter every month except for July. I guess Colorado would not be a good boating state.

Wake up and there is snow on the ground again:( I have my boat down in the main part of the shop. Just doing some spring clean up on it. Its all ready to go,just waiting for the ice to leave the lakes.
I do pay $100.00 for the whole winter to store my 5th wheel camper.

JW,150`s a bargain for 6 months.do you tow your Pulsare with the RAV??I pull my Stoker with a RAV ,but would prefer the v-6 power of a RX300.;) ;)

My boat/motor/trailer weighs about 3,000 lbs, so I pull the Pulsare with my Z71 Silverado. The RAV gets to pull the Alumacraft. I also use the RAV to move the boat around in the yard and retrieve the trailer when I'm ready to put the boat on it. At 980 lbs for just the tandem trailer, I'm only 520 pounds less than the tow rating of that RAV :D

Hey Mike ,I really think you need to move south, that Skater doesn't look good under that tarp, and besides you have been stressed out lately. My wife works for the sheriffs office here in town, she hook you up!:D

I get inflamed with jealousy when I see a garage like that. Mine could be like that, I need to buy a full door so I can fit my boat in. I want to make it deeper too so I can back in and leave the truck attached!

Skatermike - How much does that sheriff's dept. pay? Problem is, I can't understand the difference in cost of living down there. I just can't comprehend $40,000 being good money.

Email me your number, I'd like to find out more.

Thanks
Mike
