Need some help with my 150 2.5 EFI, 0G625076. After a run of a few miles I lose power, feels like it is dropping cylinders, I can keep it on plane to get to the ramp, but if I give it gas it will die. If it falls off plane, it wont get back up. And it doesn't want to idle. If it sets for a while, it will run fine and repeat process. I'm low on money, so putting it back in the shop right now isn't an option.

To date, here is what has been done. New trigger, ECU rebuilt (bad driver on 5 and 6), all new fuel lines, VST cleaned, electric fuel pump replaced, injectors cleaned and mapped, one injector replaced, pulse pump rebuilt, throttle position indicator set, new filter, new plugs, new water impeller housing, new Boysen reeds installed, timing set (hence low on money)

Stator tests fine, in the tank at the shop. I pre-mix, all oil injection components removed as well as idle stabilizer and water in fuel sensor.

Waiting on my Mercury manual to arrive, bought a DVA adaptor so I can check outputs.

Any ideas? Anyone experience this before? Its a nightmare because it has to be checked on the water I know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stator might be failing when hot under load. How do all the plugs look? battery voltage? Fuel pump voltage?

Considered that, haven't tested for it yet. Plugs look fine. Need to have battery tested and haven't run fuel pump voltage yet. Would low battery voltage affect it under a load though?

What would the plugs show except for water?
