02' Mercury 225x for sale, rebuild in 2012 (damage to #6 Piston only) but went ahead and had complete rebuild by Jay. He did a fantastic job on the motor and have no complaints to his workmanship. CLE 1:87 lower unit with Titus nose cone modification (Had gears and bearings changed while he had the lower). Motor should have less than 100 hours since rebuild, but will have to wait till I get home to verify (only home 5 months out of the year so not much usage), motor is always seviced. Selling because I just don't really need a motor for running that fast anymore and hardly ever get the chance to run 80 or better. In any case, asking $6500.00 and will supply photos and more detail on rebuild if needed. Will be back home around the 22nd of this month for anyone wanting to drop by. What else would be required to hook up the steering for this motor on a boat with cable steering?

as far as I know, nothing else would be required. Thats assuming you are not missing any parts on your cable steering system.
