Need advice i have engine mercury xr 150hp model 2002 its running up to 6000 rpm and i need to go more i mean i need to cancel revlimit what i have to do to cancel that if any one have idea let me know

cdm motors usually don't spin that high 5800 is normal for this motor not much you can do with it even if you changed over to switch box electrics and it was still 40 amp your looking at same deal maybe swap to 16 amp stuff and a light wheel

So you mean i have to change statar to 16 amp and switch box and light flywheel

You will need to change all your electronics. If you are looking at a little more performance I would start with cutting your heads.

My engine is carbortor and its 135 psi so if i do cutting for head i will go more pressure so how about main jet number i have ti fix and how many cc i have to cut my head

yes you would have to change all electrics and maybe for nothing cutting the heads is not going to increase rpms it will give better throttle response what boat is this on what prop. engine height

Dear sir

i changed the electrition and i get more rpm up to 7000 but i fix electrition for 150 hp old model i have qoustion there is any different between mercury racing stator and trigger racing type and normal type becuase even if i fix small pitch of propeller the rpm same not morre than 7000
