So I've got a pair of OX66 Yamaha's 250's on my cat and they have to have the factory gauges to operate correctly . So now I'm rebuilding my dash and would like to make it look like it should and can't with the ugly Yamaha gauges . What I want to do is mount the factory gauges under the console on a panel and pig tail off of them into a nice set of Gaffrigs in the dash . Has anyone done or heard of this being done before ?

Why do you need yamaha Gauges for your OX66 ?

Lots of us are using Aftermarket gauges with yamaha's

these are the ones i ran with my ox66

I was told by several people as well as Fred from livorsi that you had to use them as they were part of the OX66 computer system

well. if you over heat your key switch buzzer will sound and it will go in limp mode

if you run low on oil your key switch buzzer will sound and it will go into limp mode

so you want to run Livorsi RPM, GPS SPeedo, Volt, Water pressure, fuel, trim ?

I know you can also get the temp gauge to work.... but i never did since the buzzer will go off
