235 stalled out at high rpm. tried to restart multiple times. water and gas dripping out of the bottom of cowl
pulled the bottom plug on the starboard side and (uh ohhhh) water came out. some plugs have that milky goo on them.
gas was good and fresh and it ran great just 2 weeks before
cracked head? block? seal?

I'd start with the head gasket(s)

If the head gaskets look good then I would say it is the exhaust gasket

:iagree::iagree: If the head gasket looks good i'd pull the powerhead and remove the exhaust chest and look for signs of leakage along the water passages...

If it's tightened up it rusting so it's time to pull it apart I'm afraid.

My 2.6 was getting water in the bottom cyl. Had a pinhole leak in the inner exhaust manifold (original casting porosity.) After the exhaust was off the 2nd time, I found it. Got it aluminum welded and all is good. A pretty unusual failure.
