Scream And Fly
02-27-2003, 11:44 AM
Hi All,
As we all know we've tragically lost a member of our family here, Dave Raymoure, who went by "DaveR" on our forums. Although his memory will never be lost, he will be greatly missed on our forums.
As a tribute to Dave, Scream And Fly’s forums will go offline on March 1, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM Eastern Time, as we observe a moment of silence for our lost brother.
Let’s all try to remember how short life is, and how one can never be too helpful or kind to their fellow neighbor.
Rest In Peace, Dave.

Admirable, I am still reeling from this one. But I just keep looking at the smile on his face next to the boat.
Calm seas and a warm breeze fellow S&F brother.

Greg thats a very kind gesture . Still having trouble excepting the
news of the loss of Dave . Even though I didn't personally know
him the feelings are there like I had known him for years . A very
sad loss it is ....... Way to early .... :(
I found this poem and thought I might share it with all ......
Don't think of him as gone away--
his journey's just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost--
and he was loved so much.
Scream on Dave ........

Your tach is pegged on 9000 RPM and your speedo's reading way
over 100, brother. Taken too soon, but I'm sure he's in a better
place...........

Sounds familiar though?
~Psalms 23:1-6~
The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
~A psalm of David~

I never new Dave either. His Daughter seems like a very dear person and I feel really bad for the family.
I hope I have as many close friends as Dave did when my time comes.
God Bless you Dave

Has Dave ever had his boat featured on he opening page? If not, im sure he had always wanted it. If so, im sure he would like it again. He is probably on the heaven internet. HOL, heaven online. I think it would be the right thing to put his picture up. Good idea of taking s&f down for the day. Very good gesture and shows how nice of a person you are and Dave was, and will always be in our hearts.
