From Punta Rassa to Cabbage Key in SW Florida

Hey guys... how much time does it take do you think to get from Punta Rassa to Cabbage Key going about 25 mph? I'm going out tomorrow. Thanks.

If anyone wants to know... it took me 51 minutes going 25 mph to go 21.3 miles from Punta Rassa to Cabbage Key. The whole day was 44 miles and I used 15 gallons of gas on my 1987 Evinrude 88 SPL on a 17' Boat. Was a good day on the water with friends.

That's real good fuel mileage from an old motor.

I thought so too. I believe the top range of rpm for this motor is 5800 rpms for WOT. I was cruising at 4500 the entire day.

I cant stand that 25mph rule........been breaking it all week, whem did they come up with that?
