260 rpm problem

The last couple of weekends the engine will only give me 6500 rpms. Prior to that it would run 7500-7800 no problem. Engine sounds fine running but it's almost like a limiter not letting it go above 6500. Any suggestions on what to check for? Compression is 137-140 on all cylinders and plugs are new.

It's fine! Just leave it alone then I can outrun it with my promax!!!!!! Lol

Check voltage to motor they are picky on voltage it's also been alittle humid and hot little things can add up quick

I'm having the same issue. My voltage rectifer was bad. I'm swapping it out today and I'll let you know if it fixed the problem. Same symptoms as you are having

Rectifer didn't make a difference expect it charges now. Thinks it's a problem With my acu

Im gonna get my injectors cleaned to see if that may be the problem.

Yeah I'll be doing the same. I tested everything else. It seems rich too , like the injectors are sticking
