I have a 20" offshore midsection with single ram external trim pump. I broke the midsection the other day in rough water. Can I swap a 20" bass mid off a 2000 fishing 200 efi onto the offshore clamp. I want to use the one piece tuner and just swap the can. I know some of the powerhead studs may have to be swapped from the 200. Is the rest of the swap possible. Am I going to run into problems? Thanks in advance for the advice.

You "broke" an Offshore Midsection? Where? What kind of rough water?

I have struggled to keep studs arnd lock nuts on my lower to cle. The rear bolt fell out (with plenty of blue locktight on it) and the two studs in front of it loosened. This caused all the pressure to the front 3 bolts. Midsection broke right through the front two bolts straight accross the front of the mid. I noticed it started to shift hard. Pulled the boat out of the water and found it broke. 109mph in 1front foot chop in a stv modvp were the conditions.
