Who makes a nice bowrider . My boss is looking to buy a boat . He was looking at a new Yamaha 19ft jet. I think he would be better off with a bowrider - outboard combo. Don't know whats out there . 35415.93 for a big jetski.

Checkmate Pulsare 21 BR or Starliner. Both 21' and outboard. Liner is older and will usually be sub $10K boat. Lots of other Checkmates from the 80's but not sure how old he'd be willing to go. Hydrostream Voyager too. What kind of water is he going to be boating in?

My checkmate bow rider's gone 93 MPH. Not quite new but after dragging it around for 33 years Ive gotten used to it.
Checkmates fit the bill nicely. If he wants to spend $$$ on a totally custom boat then a 21 Sutphen can be built.

There are many options if you look at West Coast built boats. How about an Ultra 23XS? It is a bowrider but also has a mid-cabin which you will never see in that size. Very family friendly layout and fast with a pad bottom.
The Yamaha jet boats are slugs. Useless for towing anything, slow, inefficient, and fuel-hungry. They're boats for non-boaters with money.

Depending on his budget a 2400 BRX may fit the bill. If he's an I/O kinda guy, a ZT230BR Is nice.

The Ultra 23XS would be a perfect fit for lakes and rivers. 18 degree dead rise and wide pad for when you want to fly it solo. What is his budget? I agree that the Yamaha jet boat idea is a waste of time and money. He'll get rid of it after one year and loose a lot of money when he does.
