A quick plug for Steve over @ Hydrodynamics - quality jack plates and he does customer setups and quick too - I'm a huge fan and loved the customer support...I've never had a machinist turn out custom work so quickly with great quality.
Ok, so I thought I was going to require a custom jackplate when going from a 15" mid section 2.5 to a 20" mid section 300 to keep my lower unit at the proper hieght. With the twin rig to a single engine setup, that didn't apply and I ended up having to purchase a standard hieght jack plate, where the one shown never was used and sat in the box. Its a custom jack plate that is 5" hiegher than that standard jack plate, to account for going from a 15" mid section to a 20" mid section.
Let me know if you are interested and I'll run measurements and send the photos. I spent over $400 for the jack plate, but asking $300. Will be a sweet jack plate for someone that is replacing their 15" mid section 2.5 and going to a 20" mid 300.
