Assume you mean an adjustable torque tab?

Not sure with the torquemaster, but with the sportmaster that's designed to surface, where the adjustable torque tab is on other motors (under the cavitation plate) would always be out of the water anyway.

do you mean torque tab, usually because of the prop blade size/rake and you really don't need it! IMHO!!!

When you order a sporty with a tab it shows up from mother merc with a tab . Now if you order a straight skeg it will have no tab . As straights are used on boats with more then one motor . Right hand and left hand motors cancel steer torque .

I think he was asking about the adjustable anode on the cav plate, not the skeg tab.

Its because most of these gearcases are surfaced or semi-surfaced, where the anode would not even be in the water... Also, some large diameter, high-rake props will not clear the anode. They usually use a flat zinc anode instead.

H20 / Pyro X 2 even the torqmaster when set up on like a Bullet the tab is out of the water and does nothing

I think that is what he asked, and this is indeed the reason.
