Can the 2.0L cylinders be removed or bored completely out or do you sleeve them like a cast block as in boring most out and pressing new into old? Thanks

they are cast in place!! Ive seen them sleeved steel on steel but you can bore them quite a lot

Bored mind .020 but #5 didn't clean. Took a measurement and looks like it will @ .035 so will need to go .040. Just rather not go so large. Cylinders do look thick but I am just use to boring auto engines and .040 starts to push your luck on some models.
Trying to source another block first.
Thanks

040 is safe on that engine
They make a .060 for that motor.

I though so but just thinking future rebuilding too. After all things happen.

yup wiseco. Call me a over builder or over thinker (the wife does) I just perfer the extra. Block has a little more corrosion from the sea then I like anyways so another block I feel is just more worth this effort.
Thanks for all the help. This forums great!
If anyone has a clean bottom guided 2.0L with both halfs and no sleeves they are willing to ship please PM me.
Happy Fathers Day!
Thanks
Dustin
