3.4 ltr Merc, will wiring harness match up with 2.5

Just curious, I found a boat with a junk 3.4 Mercury. If I were to replace the engine with another Mercury, 2.5, 225, 250 etc, will the wiring harness match up? Also, what is a 3.4 Merc worth without a lower unit?

The harness are all the same.....Real early V6 mercs had a harness that hard wired to the motor. What year 3.4 is it..... ya can tell buy the cowls..... Give Me a Call at 757 665 1819
