C23 canal is in my back yard, we built our house here in 2004. Its nice not having back-yard neighbors, and gives us a great place to walk the dogs.

Side benefit is a couple times a month I hear a motor screaming out back and go to check it out. A lot of people like to come test here since its long, straight, and fresh water. Most often its the Jersey racing guys (one used to live down the block) or Gordon.

Last night was a couple guys in a Bullet:

My neighbor uses me as test driver for his little runabout:

I rebuilt this pontoon a couple years ago, it sits behind the house in the canal. Sometimes we party on it:

We also get nice sunsets:

I'll try to dig up some more S&F pics from the canal and post them up.

So if you're back there and see me pop out with my camera, wave or stop by and say hi!

Matt

Man have I spent some time in that ditch.............we have been testing my boats there for 15 years. Made some pretty good licks in that little stretch of water and it can get REAL small at times. Lot of story's.......some good..........some not so good. You'll be hearing some more noise very soon.

Great pics Matts! Didn't even see ya. Looks like you have a good camera! That was the first test run with a junk fishing prop just to see if the linkage was hooked up right and all. Should be prop testing this week out there and hope to see ya. Ill stop and say hi!

Lol there is only one seat and it was to be just a small test on linkage. I should have known better...the prop had way to much lift for the boat, but it's all he had laying around.: )

This weekend's visitor...don't see a mid-section like that every day.

From the front yard I can hear the second this thing fires up, it is wicked out of the hole.

One of these days I'll get my boat done and can add some personal content to the thread.
