Does anyone have, or know where i can get info on these motors? I just bought a 14' cat that has one on it and i dont know is i should keep it or not????

I had one on my 14 Allison and it was awesome. Wish I still had it. You can download a parts catalog from Seaway Marine website (I think they're in Washington State). I just didn't have room for it. I think they're desirable motors for the most part.

I can't find any specs on it. Namely weight Can I get a short mid for it.

A SST60 motor is a 15" motor. You can get the specs on the motor from the APBA web site under OPC and the SST60 class. I do not believe the weigh is given thou.

motor is usually between 190 and 200lbs as thru hull trim is usually utilized on the sst60 motor

You can buy an actual 15" SST60 mid section from Seaway Marine or you can find a 15" Stinger or Hustler mid section and with a couple of minor modifications get the 56er adapter plate to fit that mid section.

Im looking to sell mine. I don't need the boat to go very fast I only use it for bar hopping around my canals

the only part you cant get is the carbs but rejetting other versions can work.
