300 pm to 300x

is there much difference,can a 300 be turned into a 300x?

With some Simon mods to the 300pm you can have a 7000 rpm limiter and around 335hp range motor. That is around the stock HP of a 300x. There both great motors but the 300X is just way more hot out of the box. The Promax though can be made to be a very dependable and powerful motor also. Lots of upgrades for these motors.

I just did this switch in my boat this winter. 300x blows the promax out of the water. The acceleration and throttle response is absolutely night and day difference
