ECU problem

My 2.5EFI/260 has been dying when under a load. On the hose it's sounds great, kick it in gear and spin the prop 2-3K and seems great. Take it to the lake, kick it in gear and she dies immediately. Start in gear and dies instantly, pop in neutral fires up, idles good, put in gear and dead. Checked all the usual, solid fuel pressure in the gauge, spark, everything looks good.

I call around and two of the best mechanical mercheads point me to the same conclusion, check the vacuum line from the air horn to the ecu. Most likely clogged. Without the vacuum signal, the ecu will shut the fuel down and will kill it. So I clean the barb in the horn, clean the hose going into the ecu. I decide to take the back plate off the ecu to take a peek and I see this....

So do you think this could be my problem ;)

I'm borrowing a buddies ecu to test.

do you know if Brucato or Simon could fix this ecu (849849-A1) and flash it to A48 specs?
or should I get a ACU?

I would say that's your problem. Send it to Tony, if it can be fixed, he's the one to get it done. I wouldn't hold your breath though
