Well I have a chance to buy my old boat back but when I looked at it it had a "new" bottom end. Not the Sportsmaster bottom end. Looks like the water pick ups are about 6 holes high on the side of the bottom end. How does that work when the motor is jacked up? Aint gunna lie makes me kinda sick....

you will either need to block off the top holes and may get away with it or put a bobs nose cone on it with low water pick up

The big problem is the skeg.

This is a torquemaster with a bobs. I have no handling problems with the skeg at the speeds Im running which are 100 give or take a mph:D JMO Handles much better than my sportmaster in my application.

If you raise it high enough it will start to crab without the sportmaster or the usual bandaids. Not enough surface area.I run the sportmasters at the limit of the water pickup and they run straight.Good luck.

Thank you for the replies. Would you say this is a fleetmaster or Torquemaster smaster cause I really have no clue. The motor is on a 22' Warlock Cat. Was told a Torquemaster should actually be faster than the old Sportsmaster that was on it? And how many holes can I plug up? It does have 4 holes in the nose cone.

Did you block of some of the top holes?

Using a Bob's nose cone like vnemous has ... you block all of the side holes.
And knowing him , where he works and who he works with , Id have to say that one is built very well with all the good HD parts ...

I was just told its a Pro XS case with a larger shaft? The guy that "works at a shop" says its stronger than the Torquemaster? Maybe it can still be one? Just would love to know how to tell what it is...

Looks like the plug is above the 8 holes on the side of the case.

Thats not the drain plug. The plug is in the bottom of the nose slightly back or in the rear of the carrier.

It is in the rear of the carrier. Thanks for your help!

Well. I have came to the conclusion that it is a 2006 Torquemaster. It does have a 19 spline shaft so I hope all will be good. Gunna try it out without pluging the holes since it has the low water pick up.

How fast did it run for you with the sport master? They break 80 with a 300 promax,85 with 300x,so sportmaster is in order.Goodluck.
