After much contemplating and a heavy heart, My action is up for sale.1 of only 5 built by Dean Hazzard of Massachusetts. the boat is in very nice condition, with only very minor stress cracks near the transom. the boat is fast ,straight and light. Boat weighs 1168 lbs fully rigged with prop and all safety equipment. Hydro Dynamics foot throttle and foot rest .Digitron duel EGT, Auto meter 12 k recall Tach, 6 gal fuel cell, Allison seat, Stainless Marine trim indicator with pro-fast indicator gauge. 12 and 24 volt up trim on the right side of the wheel, and 12 volt down on the left side. 10 k Merc Tach and water pressure gauge. Rear Battery charger posts for both batteries. Boat and trailer mounted fire extinguisher. Flat pad. Motor is an unmolested 1993 Mariner 260 EFI currently with a 48 digital box, injectors were flowed by Brucato about 3 hours ago, 1:87 CLE case with a bobs cone . 20" off shore ridgeback mid. I don't know how many hours on the motor, its runs very strong and pulls wicked in the mid range. turns 9150 consistently in the 1/4 (1320 feet) trailer is a good trailer but nothing special, has gas can holders and work platforms. if you have never owned a boat its a handful to learn on but very fun, also have many extra parts , Heads, 26 or 37 cc, that we can work out a deal on. will deliver within 200 miles of 12839. any questions feel free to call me at 518-744-8785 9,500 OBO

Ok everyone, this needs to go, I may consider trades for classic car or family boat. my heart drops every time I walk into the shop and know the closest racing is 1,200 miles away, this is too nice of a boat to have sitting around, very stable and reliable. Virgin 1993 260 EFI.

I can't believe there are no hits on this boat. Maybe I will have to stick it on e-bay.

As many of you know, Jim is one of my very best friends. I've known him for over 20 years and he is the real deal. A stand up guy beyond reproach, Jim will bend over backwards to help folks near and far. I know this boat inside and out, it is rigged and set up right and very nice. The buyer will not be disappointed.

This would be a competitive race boat in a stock or modified class, or it would make one heck of a neat lake ride. Jim never really stretched it's legs with a big prop, but with an assortment of 24s and a quarter mile, I've seen it run consistent 100+ mph passes at 9000+ rpm. I've been in a similar boat at over 115 with a low rake 28" prop and very judicious use of trim. Quick, fast and fun boat that's been inside all it's life except when at the race site. Jim never used it for anything else--testing and 1/4-mile racing--so hours on it can't be much.

There aren't many boats or people out there like Jim and this boat. Someone is going to get something very special here. Making me think of buying another fast boat.....

This is one clean quick boat and a good honest person selling it as everyone has stated.
The engine alone is worth close to what Jim is asking for the complete rig.
